Deshu Xu

Deshu Xu obtained his B.Eng in Environmental Engineering from Beijing Normal University. During undergraduate studies, he studied the migration of Persistent Organic Pollutants by using high-performance optical platform. He became a Ph.D. candidate of the Peking University in September 2018, then has been co-supervised by Professor Yuxia Zhang from the Guangzhou Institute of Pediatrics and Professor Fan Bai from the Biomedical Pioneering Innovation Center. He is interested in 1) pediatric immune diseases; 2) the genomic feature of tissue with normal histomorphology; 3) cancer initiation and heterogeneity. He currently focuses on studying the diseases that affecting the intestine, uterus and neuron system with cutting-edge multi-omics technology.
